Bots are everywhere right now. Scroll through Instagram or Telegram for five minutes and you'll find someone promoting one, usually with a screenshot of returns you have no way to verify, a testimonial you can't check, and a link that leads somewhere you probably shouldn't send money.

Bot owners can connect their strategy to Wellat through our API in about two minutes, and it costs nothing to do it. There's no server fee, no listing fee, and nothing to pay before a single trade happens. Generate an API key, connect it, and the bot is live and trading. We wanted the barrier to entry for a genuinely good bot to be as close to zero as possible, because the strategies worth backing shouldn't be filtered out by who can afford to list them.

## **2\. A Starting Buffer That Behaves Like Real Capital**

This is the part that matters most, and it's worth explaining properly. Every newly connected bot trades with a starting buffer, and that buffer isn't a simulation or a demo mode. It behaves exactly like real trading capital: it absorbs genuine gains and genuine losses from the very first trade the bot makes.

That distinction matters because it means the performance history a copier eventually sees isn't a backtest, and it isn't a projection built on hypothetical numbers. Bot owners choose the percentage they earn as copiers deposit and follow their strategy. Nobody sets that number for them, and nobody buries it in fine print. It's visible on the strategy page, the same way everything else is.
